The Expedition Sun Hat offers UPF 50+ protection, shielding your face, ears, and neck. With a 2 1/2-2 3/4” (6.5-7cm) wide front brim and 3 7/8-4 1/8” (10-10.5cm) back brim, it provides enhanced coverage. Mesh ventilation, breathable lightweight fabric, and a sweatband make it one of our most comfortable hats for long walks and expeditions.
This hat is now available in our new Technical Performance fabric, designed to be soft, lightweight, breathable, and cooling.

Great if it’s not really windy
"This hat is great in most regards, it’s lightweight, folds down easily - you could even stuff it in your pocket. Comfortable to wear and you can adjust the fit. It has a chin strap which means it won’t blow off your head - however if you wear it when it’s extremely windy (as it often is in the UK) the brim either blows down into your face or up leaving your face completely exposed - if the brim was a bit stiffer this wouldn’t happen but it’s too floppy. The only fault in an otherwise great hat but no good at all in windy conditions."
