"I bought the hat because I need protection from the sun due to the medication I am taking. It fits the bill perfectly. I like the really wide brim and it is not too hot to wear. I am impressed by the high UV rating and the brand is very reassuring. The hat is much wider than others I see men wearing but I would rather be safer in the sun. The hat gives me reassurance."
"I am very pleased with this sun hat. It looks very stylish and offers good protection from the sun and will be perfect for travel in hot countries where I also want to look smart. Delivery was quite swift, even from Australia. It is a shame there isn't a small pocket to keep the chin strap in when not in use, and I do wish it could be washed on a machine hand wash programme, like Tilley hats. Sun hats need regular washing to remove sweat, and I think the hand washing may prove to be a bit tedious!"
"While I really love the shade that a Solibari Broad brim sun hat gives, the sweat band being made from polyester/nylon blend is so uncomfortable and hot. If it were made of a more natural material that was breathable (rather than this wicking idea) I feel it would be an improvement. I’d also like to know if the UPF50+ rating includes the crown of the hat or just the brim."
"Finally, a sun hat with a decent wide brim that doesn't flap about in the wind! It packs flat and is really lightweight on the head. My only criticism (and it's very minor) is that it would be good to have a pocket in the top where you could store the detachable cord when not in use."
