Solbari is the business name and references to "we", "us" and/or "our" throughout www.solbari.co.uk ("the website") are to Sun Protection Apparel Pty Ltd (Solbari).

Agreement

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users, including both users who are simply viewing the web site and users who are purchasing goods through the web site. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as making a purchase signifies acceptance of these terms.

If you enter any prize competitions or other promotions on the Services, separate terms and conditions may also apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.

All users must accept these Terms and Conditions if viewing the website and making purchases.

These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Every transaction is governed by the Terms and Conditions in place at the time of the transaction. These Terms and Conditions were last modified on 09/01/2026.

Solbari products

PLEASE NOTE: Face covers and sun hats that cover the mouth were not specifically designed to prevent the transmission of airborne illnesses or viruses.

The UPF 50+ rating is for the fabric and does not address the amount of protection which is afforded by the design of the garment. The manipulations involved in garment manufacture such as stretching and sewing may lower the UPF of the material. Articles which have been designed to cover the maximum area of the body are recommended.

The protection offered by this item may be lessened:

(i) at points where the fabric is in close contact with the skin such as across the shoulders;

(ii) if the fabric is stretched;

(iii) during the construction of the garment;

(iv) if the fabric is wet; and

(v) with time, due to the effects of normal wear.

The fabric composition of Solbari fabrics do not always present optimal surfaces for adhering aesthetic embellishments such as logo transfers. When placed under repeated usage, logos may crack or discolour, however this does not reflect any deterioration in the function of the product or its UPF 50+ rating.

We do not take any legal responsibility if these guidelines turn out to be incorrect at any point. 

Solbari sun hats and umbrellas do not provide against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation.

Colours

Colours depicted should be used as a guide only as some fabrics and materials may appear different depending on lighting conditions resulting in colour variations shown on the website.

Discount codes

To redeem an offer during an Offer Period, enter the advertised discount code into the promo code box during the checkout process. Each discount code cannot be used in conjunction with another offer. Offer excludes gift cards or previous orders. 

Promotional codes are for transactions on www.solbari.co.uk and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. The sum or percentage discount will be reduced from the order total excluding shipping costs.

Free Shipping Offer

Free standard shipping offer applies to orders over £60 after discount applied. Offer is valid on orders placed via solbari.co.uk and for deliveries to United Kingdom, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey addresses only.

Shipping Notice

Our Solbari warehouse will remain open throughout the holiday season, with orders continuing to be processed and dispatched, except on the following dates: 25–26 December 2025 and 1 January 2026. Shipping times are estimates only and do not guarantee delivery by a specific date. We dispatch orders Monday to Friday, on the same business day or within 1 business day of receiving your order. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

Multi-buy offers

The 20% discount applies to the lower priced item of the two. This offer cannot be redeemed for cash or used to pay for gift cards. Offer available while stocks last. This offer is valid for selected styles only, and you cannot mix and match between styles. Subject to availability.

Reviews submission competition

Eligibility: 
The draw is open to customers who have completed and submitted a product or site review. Each review counts as one entry, 1 winner will be drawn every month.

The prize draw:
The prizes will be drawn on the 15th of following month, the winners will be selected at random. 

Notification of Winners:
Solbari will attempt to notify the potential winner within 5 business days of the drawing by email. If a potential winner does not respond within 7 days of the notification email, they will forfeit their prize, and a new winner will be selected at random.

The prize:
Prizes (total value of all prizes combined is £50) Solbari e-gift card. Unspecified expenses and taxes (if any) are the winner’s sole responsibility. The prize cannot be substituted or transferred; it is not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Refunds, returns and cancellations

PLEASE NOTE:  

• Due to hygiene reasons, we are not accepting returns or exchanges on items which cover the face and mouth as noted on the relevant product pages. 
• Swimwear Bottom and Swimsuit: all swimwear should be tried on over underwear without removing the protective adhesive strip. In the interests of hygiene, returns will not be accepted if this strip has been removed or where it is obvious the item has been worn. 
• Umbrella returns, exchange & refunds: 
  If you experience an umbrella manufacturing fault within the first 6 months of purchase, we will exchange or refund your original item.

Solbari does guarantee the availability to cancellations or amendment of orders.

Our return and exchange policy is 30 days from when you receive the goods.

Returned goods will only be accepted if they are in their original condition, which means unworn and unwashed with all original tags still in place. If we deem that the good is not in its original condition, the customer will not receive a refund or exchange and the good will be sent back to the customer.

All exchanges are final and cannot be returned for a refund or further exchange. Order must be paid for in full prior to delivery.

Should you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please notify us within 2 business days of delivery. We will assess the item and if deemed damaged on arrival or faulty, will provide a replacement where possible or exchange.

We do not accept responsibility for parcels that are misplaced after they have been delivered and signed for.

We do not accept responsibility for returned goods that get lost in transit. We recommend that you send your returns using a recorded or signed for service post and that you retain proof of postage.

Dispatch and delivery dates are provided as a guide only. We take no responsibility for any failure to deliver products within the expected delivery time.

Refunds or cancellations will not be allowed if the shipment arrival times exceed the estimated times.

How will I receive my refund?

All refunds will be processed via the original payment method. If you would like to return a product that was purchased using a Solbari Gift Card, your refund will be credited in the form of another Solbari Gift Card. Costs of delivery, if any, will not be included in the refund.

All eligible orders placed during our Black Friday sale period come with an extended returns and exchanges window of 45 days. This excludes Final Sale items.
