Psoriasis is a chronic, immune-mediated disease that accelerates the skin's natural renewal process, leading to red, inflamed, scaly patches on the skin. For people living with psoriasis, choosing clothing that feels comfortable against sensitive skin can be an important part of everyday life. Soft, breathable fabrics and comfortable fits can help minimise unnecessary friction and discomfort.

Solbari is proud to be the first apparel brand to receive the National Psoriasis Foundation’s Seal of Recognition. This recognition is awarded to products that have been independently reviewed by a panel of leading medical experts, including dermatologists. As part of this review, products are evaluated to determine that they are non-irritating, non-sensitising, and non-toxic.

Our recognised UPF 50+ products span two Solbari fabric collections, each designed with comfort, breathability and sensitive skin in mind.

  • Sensitive Collection - This fabric is a soft and gentle blend of viscose from bamboo and cotton, with a small amount of elastane for the perfect stretch. This collection features both men’s and women’s clothing, including t-shirts, long sleeve polo shirts, wraps, and arm sleeves.
  • Cotton Linen Collection - Our cotton and linen fabric is the ideal blend of natural fibres, used to create lightweight, breathable and non-irritating sun hats. This collection includes a number of our best selling products, such as our Ultra Wide Cotton Linen Sun Hat, Holiday Sun Hat, and Resort Sun Hat.

In addition to being gentle on the skin, these fabrics deliver world-leading UPF 50+ sun protection, shielding against more than 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. By helping to reduce sun exposure and the risk of sunburn, Solbari clothing supports those with psoriasis to help reduce the risk of skin irritation and flare-ups.

Solbari works with dermatologists through our Expert Medical Panel to help educate our community about UV protection and preventative skin health.

“Solbari combines comfort and style with world-leading UV protection, making their UPF 50+ range one of the simplest and most effective additions to your daily routine to maintain healthy skin for life.” - Dr. Alice Rudd, dermatologist, Australia
