"Great coverage, but minus points for fashion appeal. This is a frumpy and somewhat unfashionable sun hat, but I'd argue they've minimised the 'frumpiness' of it as much as they can - as the coverage is quite streamlined. It best suits practical days out in intense sun and heat where performance is more important than aesthetics. The lightweight design is great and being featherweight you hardly notice you're wearing it. In addition to that, this hat is flat packable which is a big plus for stowing away in your luggage. Old school leather sun hats might look a better: but they're heavier, not packable, and less breathable. This hat offers the benefits of modern synthetic materials."
