"I’ve been looking for a bucket hat for a while that’s complementary to my face shape and not too masculine. This hat is stylish (or as stylish as bucket hats can be!), light, fits well, and offers me the sun protection I need for outdoor pursuits. The chin strap is practical in case of wind, although I don’t think the hat would fare well in strong winds. I’m really happy with it though and may get the navy one as well when that’s back in stock."
"This bucket hat is, hands down, the hat I needed but didn’t know I needed. No matter how snugly you pull your hat down on your head and tighten it, it’s still no match for a strong wind. It’s just simple science. But, the other day I was able to get out of my car confident that I would not have to go chasing my hat down the street. With the Technical Bucket hat cord securely fastened under my chin my hat stayed in its place. I’m protected from the sun (primary reason for purchase), the wind and, bonus, the spiders while I’m walking under the trees. Not to even mention if I’m having a bad hair day I can still be stylish with my bucket hats!!"
"Haven't worn yet as bought for use on windy days/walking and sailing holidays etc. but have high expectations for sun protection based on the visor cap bought at same time and worn daily. Will deduct one star as can't vouch for it's performance in the wind (staying put. . . ) as yet but it fits my large head comfortably and looks good so am happy with it and looking forward to wearing it."

"I am a “soft classic” in Kibbe styling. So I was looking a long time for a replacement for my floppy, wide-brimmed hat that looked funny on me. I’m also a busy mom with two littles and needed a hat that I could easily pack with me and that wouldn’t blow away in the powerful wind gusts where I live. I’m grateful for this hat! It has great features and looks good! The only thing is that it does get a little warm on hot days, due to lack of ventilation. "I've seen hats that I've liked for significantly more money, more money than I've been willing to spend. One that will fit my excessively large head - this has always been a problem for me. This one fit's, it's lightweight, I can shove it in a pocket or bag all scrunched up. Perfect for my style of travel. My old bucket hat is now in the bin. No Ragrets!"
