"I really liked the quality of the hat, and the adjustable hidden velcro to tighten the head since the small /medium seemed a bit bigger than my linen small / medium. Coverage is good, but sometimes I have to fold up the back because it is so long it hits my back and pushes the front down if I look up at all. This is a bit fancier than the linen hat I bought and heavier, so I like the linen hat for hiking, but this is nice for walking, gardening, or a nicer event outside ."

"I am a 60 year old English person who has not spent my life sunbathing, but I have still suffered sun-damage on my face. I am currently waiting to have a (small) basal cell carcinoma removed. This has been a total wake-up call and now I need to keep my face (and neck) out of the sun. This hat (I had a small size, as I am a small person), really does shade the whole face and also covers the neck, giving excellent protection, due to its bucket-shape. The only thing I would say is that my view is limited (e. g. I wore it all day today, for the first time, and spent a lot of time looking downwards). That is the only 'con', but you can't expect to be fully protected, if you haven't got a hat with a large (downturned, in this case) brim. I also bought the silver umbrella for when I am walking around and want to look a bit more stylish (e. g. socialising in summertime). Thanks Solbari - very good service from Oz and a very sturdy, well-made hat. (P. S. I don't think it would work very well for cycling, due to the limited view. )"
"I absolutely love this hat. I have a rather large head and have strugged hugely in the past trying to find out that actually fitted, and this hat fulfilled all of my hopes. It fits perfectly, and because it is adjustable inside, I can wear a headband underneath it if I need to. I have a condition that means that breezes against the side of my face can cause a lot of pain, but the wide brim on this comes down far enough to shield my face without being droopy at all. The quality is really good, and the packaging was very well done, and even though the hat came folded in half, it didn't have any crease marks once I took it out. I am so glad I took the chance in buying this hat, and I absolutely love it."
