Ideal for ultramarathons

"As an ultra runner I often find myself out in the direct sunshine for extended periods of time. After some research I happened upon this short sleeve polo shirt. What appealed to me was the collars for neck protection and longer sleeves and body in a technical fabric. The added sun protection built into the material was the icing on the cake. I recently used it in anger on a race in the French Alps, 11 hours in a reasonable altitude without cloud cover. I found the material behind the front buttons prevented any chafing where my hydration pack lay across it. I could lift the collars up higher when I felt the sun on my back. When I added melt water to my shoulders and neck the material let the water through quickly but didn’t hold it too long to become heavy as it wicked away with my running. I’m really pleased with my first purchase and should other ‘light’ colours get released I wouldn’t hesitate buying another polo."

"This shirt is a nice fit, though I went for a size a little larger to allow for it not being too tight in the heat. It looks great and I get compliments on it.
