"I play lawn bowls and sometimes we are in the full sun for 8 hours. My base layer UPF 50+ has fully protected my arms and under my bowls shirt. It is a light weight and ultra comfortable garment, almost a second skin and on those high thirties days, I feel it makes me cooler because it keeps the sun from beating directly onto my bare skin. "Tight and Light Holding up the Solbari logo very close to a light bulb indicates that no pinpoint of light is detectable (only visible light bouncing through the white cloth as an afterglow). This is a great indication that damaging wavelengths in sunlight will not get through the high-quality super-tight very light weight weave. A nice design touch is the slit for your thumb which keeps the sleeve from riding up your arm. Perhaps a future design may have a similar slit (with flaps) over your wrist where you might wear an exercise monitor or watch. This will allow a careful peak without compromising the UPF 50+ to the skin of your wrists."

"Very light and soft material which feels lovely to wear and dries quickly after washing. Exact size as ordered. I purchased this top for my son who is a builder and in the sun all day. I thought it would save him from having to re-apply sunscreen regularly. He has worn it twice and said that he found it to hold in the sweat. He would recommend wearing it if you were in the sun without doing too much physical activity. However, I would still buy this product again."
