"I’m absolutely thrilled with my Solbari purchase! For the longest time, my 3-year-old boy refused to wear any hat — I’ve probably tried 10 different kinds, and none would stay on his head for more than 5 seconds. But everything changed with Solbari! "Bought for 5 and 8 year old girls for general play but particularly for the benefit of full coverage over face, ears and neck while at the beach. Looks exactly as pictured and better than other brands which don’t fit as wide of a head circumference range meaning they outgrow other hats more quickly. The younger’s preschool teachers told me this week that it’s the best hat they’ve seen for a child due to the excellent coverage combined with overall quality/aesthetic look. It is very light weight, the light blue is pale enough that it works as a gender neutral colour - doesn’t look like a “boy’s” hat."

"This hat has been an absolute lifesaver. Our little one is notorious for pulling off hats, but the well-designed chin strap on the Solbari Playtime Hat keeps it securely in place without any fuss. The coverage is amazing, and the neck cape is particularly brilliant for when he's in the pushchair. Unlike a regular wide-brimmed hat that gets pushed up by the back of the seat, the cape lies flat and keeps him perfectly comfortable. The best part is the adaptable sizing – I can already see that this hat will grow with them, and I expect we'll get many years of use from it. A fantastic investment!"

Great hat, need more options
"This is a great sun hat and my daughter loves it. She chose the pink. I find the black chin strap a bit severe and cheap looking, and would love to see an alternative. The fit is fine for my 6 year old but the little buckle at the back comes loose easily so it probably wouldn’t be great on a smaller head. I’d also love to see kids options in the natural linen/cotton fabric, plus more colour options. There are so many adult hats but the kids options are very limited, which is a shame."
