He likes the design because its similar to his "Tilly" hat that has poor coverage, the color options are good and the light weight of the hat is another plus. And, he's using it!"

"The Everyday Broad Brim sun hat gives me excellent coverage from the NZ sun and the wide brim shades ears and neck much more than a peak cap. The protection also from glare as I wear glasses with a tint in them and being legally blind in my right eye stops me squinting and ability to when sun hits good eye walking into someone re glare. Also feature of hidden pocket clever and the green colour I live for hats with the underside being green to as read years ago the green colour helps eyes I think re reflected glare off pavements etc a soothing colour. I find the ability to flat pack and chin strap great as going to South Island soon for a photographic tour and the wide brim again acts like an umbrella and also keeps glare at bay so I can see camera viewfinder so much easier. I used to work in the outback of Australia absolutely loved it and always covered up and wore big brim hats whilst housekeeping and travelling."

"I bought this hat for my husband as he has an allotment and needs protection on the back of his neck as well as his face. The allotment is in a very open area with no shade from the sun but also it gets very windy. He does not like hats with straps, but when he saw the strap was removable he was more than happy to try it…. and he now finds he’s more than happy with the strap. The hat is adjustable and combined with the strap he no longer comes home form the allotment with a dent in his head where he had the old hat so tight, and no headache!"
