"Materials and construction are good. Nice wide brim is great or sun protection. Brim is also firm and does not lose shape or collapse. Fit is good and interior drawstring comes in handy on windy days. Really nice hat. I plan to get another shortly as a backup and/or for future use."

"The material used in my Solbari sun hats is of the highest quality. They have very good ventilation, with the ability to tighten or loosen the hat, to get just the right fit. From a sun perspective, it has great coverage for your face and neck. But what I like most, is that after wearing them for a while it’s almost like you don’t even feel you have a hat on. "This hat when worn properly isn't waywardly unfashionable, but the wide brim does put it into that territory. I'd have really liked a two-tone design, so dark/navy blue on the underside perhaps? This would really improve the appearance of the product. That being said, great coverage and UPF. It's so lightweight, breathable and comfortable compared to traditional leather cowboy style hats and is flat packable. I genuinely enjoy using it, even if it doesn't quite have the good looks of a classic baseball cap. As it's so light I feel it may not be durable, but with care and considerate use I think this could last for a while. Despite its light design it didn't feel or look cheap. The chin strap/string is subtle, light and easy to use to keep the hat in place in windy conditions. I would probably sooner reach for a regular cap around town, but for sun protection coverage this excels on hikes, dog walks, and gardening tasks, etc. I personally didn't feel as if the hat obstructs my ears in any way when worn. All in all, a very good product after several weeks of use."
